A Wife’s Curiosity
“What would make a person worth moving across the country for? Well, what are other things that people will move across a country for? The first one that comes to my mind is a career. People will do it for a career because they think it has the potential to provide for a better present and a better future. What else? Well, the only other one I can think of is for family. People will move for family because family is what gives people a sense of home, and we’re all looking for home.”

*nods in agreement*
(I still haven’t found a job. Sigh.)
that’s cheesy… like Sleepless in Seattle cheesy… and it’s so true, and i agree! amen.
from our own recent experience, i’ve have to add education to the list. it’s crazy to move cross country, but the chance to learn like i’m doing now just can’t be passed up. school is kicking my butt i’m loving it!
agreed.
Our very desires change out of love…I think this is one of the greatest reasons why marriage is such a profound illustration of Christ and the Church. Then again, I imagine you kids will have a great marriage, and will find this yourselves quite frequently.
I just need to get my butt in gear. And where are u running off to missy?
